Your IPhone Has A Hidden Mouse On The Keyboard
The ability to split up the iPad's keyboard is one of my favorite lesser-known features in iOS. When split, you can move the two halves up and down to where you want it, by touching the lower right and left corner of the screen with your thumb and index fingers on one hand, and slide up or down. Sketch in Notes: Force press on the Notes app icon, then choose "New Sketch".Now scribble away until your heart's content.
If that is not to your liking, open the Preferences†menu in the keyboard settings and check the top of the list. Simply tap and hold on the ".?123" key and, once the keyboard has changed to show number and character options, slide that finger to the desired character.
If you hold down the space bar it will allow you to move the cursor in whichever direction you move your thumb, letting you add or remove letters without having to tap where you want to edit. If you want to move the keyboard to a different position, tap and hold the lower right button again and simultaneously slide that same finger up or down.
Swiping up from the very bottom of the screen brings up Control Center, which gives you easy access to key features such as mute, orientation lock, Airplane Mode and so on. When iOS 11 drops, Control Center will get a simpler design and the ability to customize what it offers.
Find on Page in Safari: To Find text in a Safari page, hit the Share button on a page to see a Find on Page option (it surfaces a pop-up over the keyboard). Or, if you swipe down the screen with two fingers (and you turned on Speak Screen), your iPhone reads the entire screen.
If you need to send somebody a link to an article or you just want to verify some information before you keep typing away, tap IOS the "G" icon and type your query. But on IOS the keyboard covers up the text input area. Then ease the pressure your finger is applying to the screen without letting go, and press again firmly to activate the highlighter and move your finger to select what you want to edit.
